Between Myself

Inspired by a series of near-death experiences, hilarious first dates, and childhood diary musings, Between Myself is a one-woman show by Madeline Maxine Roman. Featuring original poetry, striking visual design, and movement inspired by American Sign Language, Between Myself is a deeply personal narrative exploring universal themes of resilience, self-acceptance, and the metamorphosis of becoming yourself.

Development for Between Myself has been supported by the Dance and Disability Residency at Dance Place and the Rutgers University’s Integrated Dance Collaboratory ChoreoLab. Between Myself will premiere in May 2025 through support from Dance Loft on 14 and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation.
